The Three Dragons Castle, is the modernist building built by Lluís Domčnech i Montaner for the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona in 1888 and which now houses part of the Barcelona’s Natural Sciences Museum: The Nature Laboratory.

It was one of the star buildings in the exhibition. Just in front of him was the Arts Palace (now disappeared) and was just at the end of the walk that began at the Arc of Triumph and ended at the Ciudadela Park.

It is a building that seems a castle, built with exposed brick, laminated iron and decorative ceramics. It has the typical towers and perimetral passages of a castle, hence it was finally known as the Three Dragons Castle.

In addition to the Nature Laboratory (the Three Dragons Castle) on the Ciudadela Park, this museum has other spaces in the city: the Martorell Museum on the same park, at just a few meters from here, the Botanical Garden of Barcelona on the Montjuďc area and the Blue Museum at the Forum area.
