The Bosc de les Fades

Gnomes, nymphs and fantastic creatures inhabit the enchanted forest of a romantic café with glasses and sangria. The Bosc de les Fades (Fairy forest in English) is located in the heart of the city, in an alley near the Ramblas, in the Ciutat Vella Quarter.

Bosc de les Fades is part of the Wax Museum and can be accessed both by the museum and the free-form street, there is no need to visit the exhibition. The restaurant is open from the time the Museum opens until dawn.

Known for its eccentric decoration, the bar is full of trees and jungle vegetation, with a roof full of stars, a passage with a bridge that passes over a fountain and a fairy bathing. Dwarves, waterfalls, a bedroom with a woman levitating in a corner. You will hear owls and crickets; every now and then they turn off the lights and it sounds like rain and thunder falls. It is definitely the ideal place to have a drink in a couple or in a group.

The price is not exactly very cheap, but for the location and decor of the place, it’s worth it. The restaurant serves tapas, sandwiches, coffees and refreshments. If you are in the area, either because you have gone to visit the Aquarium, the Museu Marítim Reial Drassanes or you are just strolling down the Ramblas, you should consider visiting this restaurant out of a fairy tale.
