Is a funicular mountain train, that starts from the station Peu de Funicular, was designed by the architects Bonaventura Conill I Montobbio and Arnald Carlvet I Peyronill with a Catalan modernist style.

Built at the top end of Sarrià Quarter in 1906. The Vallvidrera funicular goes up and down like a lift ant it operates automatically after being remodeled in 1998, with the introduction of new cars.

There’re are two small funiculars with a capacity of 50 person. It runs at a basic interval of 6 minutes on weekdays, less frequently on weekends and public holidays with a journey time of 2 minutes and 50 seconds, without considering the intermediate stop. The funicular has an intermediate stop halfway at Carretera de les Aigües. Is easy to get to Collserola tower and continue to the Tibidabo with many more places to visit.

The Vallvidrera funicular is one of the three funiculars trains in Barcelona, the others are the Montjuic Funicular and Tibidabo Funicular.
