The Casas-Carbó House is a modernist building located on Barcelona's Paseo de Gracia.
The artist Ramón Casas commissioned the architect Antoni Rovira i Rabassa to construct this building and then moved-in to live there.
The decorations of the balconies, the floral decoration of the columns on the ground floor and the finish of the facade are the most spectacular details of facade. The same architect
also designed the neighboring building, as you can see similarities between them.
The double-leafed door is made of wood and wrought iron forged to great elegance and with outstanding gold metalwork decorations.
A tip: Just go in the shop located here, go to the first floor and take the opportunity to enjoy the original decoration with wrought iron and ceramic elements. The
magnificent sculptured fireplace and the terrace, from where you can see the rear facade of La
Pedrera is located on this same block.
