Noon Oriel

If you like to walk and want to contemplate an exceptional view of Barcelona, the Mirador del Migdia (Noon Oriel in English) is one of the best places to do it. From the viewpoint you can enjoy fantastic views of the city, being able to observe from the heights the Free Zone, the Baix Llobregat, part of the port and the Montjuic Cemetery.

The Mirador del Migdia park occupies one of the last sectors that remained to be urbanized at the end of the 20th century on the southern slope of the Montjuic mountain. It was planned at the same time that the Olympic Ring of the Olympic Games was planned. On the way to the viewpoint you will find the Miramar Gardens, the Mayor’s Oriel and the Montjuic Castle Oriel. So it’s the perfect plan to enjoy with family and friends.

One of the features of the viewpoint is “La Caseta del Migdia”, a place that little by little is becoming a spot between tourists and locals. La Caseta, as its name says, is a small house that has a terrace and tables where you can rest, eat or drink something after peering into the viewpoint.
