Like the rest of the buildings, it was inaugurated for the 1888 Universal Exposition, at which time its facilities were used as conference and party rooms.

It is a beautiful building, built of metal with glass to allow the passage of natural light, but over the years, it lost its use and its glory, reaching total abandonment. Fortunately, it is already in the process of rehabilitation. We hope that it will soon show itself again with its maximum splendor.
