The Gran de Gràcia street was one of the most important streets in the neighborhood, it had been influential to go down to Barcelona, but since its urbanization there were many who struggled to get their businesses and establish their residences there.

Since then, Gran de Gràcia is an important artery for the city. It is a quiet place to live and at the same time a living street of commerce. It has more than five hundred establishments and a wide variety of restaurants, from fast food to gastronomic pleasure.

Although not on a large scale on Gran de Gràcia street we can find modernist buildings such as the Ramòn Servent House, the Salvador Castany House of 1908 and the La Caixa Building, built in 1905.

The first Saturday of every month, in the evenings it becomes pedestrian to be able to walk on foot or by bicycle, play or practice sports or simply enjoy a day of shopping.
